A Community Mental Health Non-Profit
Empower Your Healing
We create safe, judgment-free spaces where people can share their stories, process their emotions, and find strength in community. Everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and understood.
Khora (χώρα) — an ancient Greek concept meaning a nurturing space of becoming. A place where transformation is possible.
In ancient Greek philosophy, "Khora" describes a space that exists before and beyond ordinary boundaries — a place where things take shape, where transformation begins. We chose this name intentionally. Mental health healing doesn't happen in isolation. It happens in community, in conversation, in the spaces we create together. That's what Keepers of Khora builds: those spaces.
Our Mission
At Keepers of Khora, we believe mental health is not a solitary path — it's one we walk together. We build community-centered spaces where individuals feel valued, heard, and empowered to begin or continue their healing journey.
Through events, workshops, and outreach programs, we connect people with the resources, conversations, and community they need. We reduce stigma by normalizing mental health dialogue — particularly within communities that have historically had less access to these conversations.
We create environments where every voice is welcome and no one is judged for their story.
Healing accelerates in community. We bring people together so no one walks this path alone.
We normalize mental health conversations — especially in communities where silence has been the norm.
We don't just talk about wellness — we equip people to become advocates for their own and each other's mental health.

Our Story
Founder & President
Keepers of Khora was born from Dwayne's own experience of not being seen or heard — and a conviction that a space where people could exist without judgment, among like-minded and like-spirited individuals, was not just needed, but necessary. A certified personal trainer and community wellness leader, he designs programs that meet people where they are, not where systems expect them to be.
Co-Founder & Vice President
Tiffany leads KOK's outreach strategy with a focused commitment to underserved populations. She connects individuals to vital mental health services and builds the partnerships that expand KOK's reach into new communities. An integral architect of KOK's events, she coordinates logistics, volunteer networks, and fundraising initiatives that keep the organization operational and growing.
